AB Wrestling Competes at Storm Open
November 24, 2019PAINESVILLE, Ohio -- At the Lake Erie College, Alderson Broaddus Wrestling took on opponents from Division I and Division II levels on Sunday. In total, the Battlers had 12 guys in eight weight classes on the day.
Dalton Pearl, Gino Sita, and Joshua Laubach picked up multiple victories in their respective weight classes. Laubach had a third place finish while in the 157 pound weight class as an unattached wrestler. Laubach had four victories on the day with two falls and a major decision over wrestlers out of Ohio State University, Kent State University, and West Virginia University.
In the 184 pound weight class, Gino Sita took two wins via tech fall over opponents out of Gannon University and Cleveland State. Sita fell in the quarterfinal round to Zach Steiner of Ohio State to a score of 14-8.
Noah Hodges and Curtis Cox earned one win each in their respective weight classes in the 125 pound class and 141 pound class.
AB Wrestling will be back in action at the Petrofes Invitational at Messiah College starting on December 6th.
