PHD is right. The more divisions there are to compete in, the more watered down our state will become. There should be one division, considering our state population is relatively small. Wrestling is growing with the advent of the UFC and other mma organizations. Participation will continue to grow...

Having multiple classes definitely diminishes things, look at VA, 6 classes and 6 championships per sport.

How about reconfigure the way the current classes are and not allow schools to play the number games to fit whatever it is they want.

MAWA is coming up soon after the season. It’s pretty decent and culminates with a national level tournament. Although a lot of people participating are from the Mid Atlantic area it seems.

Ok so in a regional tournament the 2 and 4 placed wrestlers are in opposite sides of the bracket however the 2nd place region kid has an R2 and the 4th place kid has an F2z.

Shouldn’t that 4th place kid be R4?
