I think there should be so many weigh ins at the desired weight class to qualify to wrestle in another weight class.

I thought rules were already established from a wrestler moving down in weight classes.

MAYBE having only TWO regionals would help, can you imagine the crowds this would draw and the top 8 each region go on to the STATES,

North A/AA and North AAA regional
South A/AA and South AAA regional

Why have a schedule and a season if your not going to compete? Just sit out until the regionals, two fine talented wrestlers, nothing intended to discredit these two but they should have wrestled.

That's why we have the pill cause of this kind of thinking.

I personally don't like the pill, but what happen to the old saying this is how it's been for years. (Every-time Region alignment gets talked about).

I didn't liken that during the MSAC. Several of the talented wrestlers didn't perform, injuries are one thing but not totally sure why so many no shows.

Can u imagine two regionals including JVs from the North and South in the future?

I see what your saying but why not do two regionals and place the top 8 in each region then 16 man State brackets.
I cannot think of why this would not be a better way of getting the best wrestlers at the states consistently over the years.

From looking at the brackets two things come to mind there was two good wrestlers at 138 that were hurt by injury, I'm not sure if these are two of the three that had season ending injuries by another post (dislocated shoulders) on this forum but appears they had common opponent too. Huntington, Spring valley and believe CM missing some, I hear several are injured around state just curious how long they are out.

Sad to hear that! Several talented wrestlers have been injured this year best of luck to them in getting well and understanding adversity when it hits.

I did hear he Nude is tough at 113 just haven't seen him yet. Another tough weight class where Region 4 will elimate a couple of the better wrestlers that should be competing at states.

I thought Haynes was at 132; if he is I say he may claim 132 and really could make noise at states at 132.

I predict Ackerman and Donahue to win 113 and 138; Lorea wins 126 and Burdette claims 132. Also believe Huntington and Ripley will make a run for the team scoring!
