The GIT is looking for one possibly two teams for their event in January.
Our event is a 16 team individual pool style tournament. Wrestlers start in 4 pools that feed into a bracket for semis and then on to finals. With full pools, all wrestlers will receive 5 matches. Full teams are preferred. This is a single day event.
We utilize Trackwrestling.
Finals are wrestled in the last session, utilizing 4 mats.
9-16 places are wrestled out in the prior session.
Participating teams; Wadsworth, O.Liberty, Cinn. LaSalle, Oregon Clay, Perry(Lake Co.), Kenston, Hilliard Darby, Findlay, Smithville, Mayfield, Highland(Marengo), Mansfield Sr, NC Hoover, Aurora.
Wadsworth HS is roughly 130 miles from the OH/WV line utilizing I-77
