Heath, I agree with you on All State being a good ole boys award just like outstanding coach and wrestling. It’s a popularity thing. However in Braxton’s case being productive you have no idea. When he takes out two or three opposing linemen it obviously makes the opportunity for the guy behind him to make more tackles. I doubt anyone who watched that team play would disagree. Well anyone that knows much about football. I am sure there are just as many experts in the stands as there are in wrestling that could corroborate that.

That’s too many names Gary but I agree with you, too many great ones there to leave off any.

To help Coach Bender decide and to distinguish a Mount Rushmore for both schools, I suggest:

Spencer:
Matt Ashley
Terry Kendall
Rich Greathouse
Todd Kendall

Roane County:
Josh Fisher
Dylan Cottrell
Cam Moore
Josh Craddock

Maybe Josh deserves his own Mount Rushmore. He could have 3 carvings in 3 different singlets. That's actually no small feat. It speaks to his personality and character, as a high school teenager, moving between 3 different schools, being able to make friends with new teammates (who previously were the competition), and to be tremendously liked by everyone at every stop along the way.
