I had three different people comment and link this discussion topic to the "WV Division 1" topic. They stated:

1. College coaches will be at FloNats but they can only watch who shows up to wrestle.
2. Coaches can also refer back to Floarena and watch the videos of FloNats, but again, only watch videos of who shows up to Flo to wrestle.
3. I guess of the WV wrestlers who go, do well and/or display "something" in regard to potential, their name will make it onto a college coach's legal pad (inside their cell phone).

These comments made sense to me................thought I would share for the forum family.

Whorton beats #3 seed super 32 runner up and 2 x WI state champ 6 to 1. Caleb Rea knocks off #2 seed. Peyton Hall and Alec Cook also in quarters. 4 Region I AA WV boys represented well today. Not sure on others. Just 4 I followed closely today.

Coaches can go watch the kids right now but I believe this is considered a “dead period” for recruiting. Coaches are not allowed to talk to wrestlers at all this week.
