University/Ripley/PHS Tri - Bear Tracks Supplement

Postby Bearhugger » Wed Jan 26, 2022 1:23 pm

It shouldn't be this difficult to obtain scores. I was just provided this from a great parent.

Clarifications will hopefully be obtained rather than making assumptions as to who was at what weight class in the absence of names.

Bear Tracks 106 through 126 might need to be revised.

Again, I do not understand why we hype up events, the events happen and then nobody shares the results.

Parkersburg: 106- Emery: loss
113- Wolfe: loss
120- Pauley: loss
126- oxley: win
132- McKenzie: win
138- Pauley: win
145- Felix: win
152- Hagedorn: win
160-Hagedorn: win
170-McKenzie: loss
182-Taylor: win
195- Kehler: win
220- forfeit
285- Turney: loss

Ripley: 106- Emery: Win
113- Wolfe: Win
120- Pauley: Win
126- Oxley: loss
132- McKenzie: loss
138- Pauley: win
145- Felix: win
152- Hagedorn: loss
160- Hagedorn: loss
170- Wellings- Osha: win
182- Taylor: win
195- Kehler: win
220- forfeit
285- Turney: win
Holy smokes. Braxton Amos works out with a landmine now!!!!!!

I was told Parkersburg High School put all of there scores on face book. I don't know why can't put there scores on wvmat.com.

I understand your frustration, because even though the intentions were good these results are meaningless as they don't tell who the wrestler was wrestling, as you were lamenting.

University beat Parkersburg 43 to 32 and Kehler beat Howard 6 to 0. At 285 Jones was getting beat, but with a few seconds left he pinned Turney.University also beat Ripley 48 to 15. Parkersburg beat Ripley 41 to 39. Cantwell one of Parkersburg's best wrestlers did not wrestle

The Big Reds were doing great. Then they stopped. Perhaps they encountered "staffing issues" like Walmart and Tudors????

Interesting. The first report I got was Kehler beat Howard 4 to 0. Then I was sent a screen shot of Matboss and it said 8 to 0. You say 6 to 0.

I am concluding that Kehler won the match. Good enough until a rock comes through my window with a note taped to it saying the score was 7 to 0.
