My Goodness! 138 is the probably the toughest weight class year in and year out! Lots of tough weight classes (182 and 145 come to mind), but the top 8 ranked guys at 138 makes it the toughest for me! Good Luck Everyone!

See another post on 138 AAA. That's what I was saying. I have a pretty good Idea which 2 or 3 wrestlers are going to win most weight classes. Have a good day and any of the top 8 ranked wrestlers could get it done @ 138lbs. The 152lb. class was pretty tough last time I looked also.

True but there seems to be a bit more separation at the top at 152 in my opinion. Anything can happen though.

I think the most exciting weight class this year:

1. 138
2. 182
3. 145
4. 113
5. 132
6. 152
7. 120
8. 126
9. 285
10.195
11. 160
12. 106
13. 220
14. 170

Not meaning to knock any but the drama in some of the weight classes will be so intense starting even in the Quarterfinals.

138 is a very balanced weight class without a clear favorite, for sure. Love all of these kids but here is how I see it.

1. Lucas
2. Hurst
3. Talley
4. Jones
5. Pauley
6. Ramirez

Should be fun to watch :D

So if we seeded this like a normal tournament, what would the matchups be?

What if it was seeded using the "hybrid pill"? or just seeding the region champs? What would the tourney look like?

Would that make this bracket more incredible to watch play out?

It is pretty close with the pill,

If Jones beating Talley moves him to 2, then he is on the other side of the bracket from Hurst (1) Hurst,

Quarters match up close, not perfectly to a seeded bracket, (IF ranked wrestlers win out to that point).

Maybe I am seeing that incorrectly, if I am please let me know.

Tried to tell people Lucas is a stud. He beat ramirez. Jones is gone. Tally and hust will beat each other up. Lucas meets winner in finals. Lost to Talley by 1 while he was sick. Got decked by Hurst but was leading match.

Jones doesn’t seem to be gone. That’s his semi final opponent.

Everyone sleeping on Bradyn Lucas should be awake now .
He tried to show you at OVACS he was the real deal and now he’s making sure everyone knows

For all the people that counted Saige Walls out look at the brackets. Strong 3rd place finish while being counted out by entire coaching polls. Majored his way to avenge first round loss.

He’s ranked #3 going into the state tournament. I’m not sure why you all feel that’s sleeping on him. Clearly he was identified as being one of the favorites. I could have seen any one of 7-8 kids making the finals in that bracket.

I think everyone didn’t even give Hurst any credit even though he’s beaten everyone. Hurst is here to win!

Lost when sick. Was winning when pinned. Sounds like excuses. Either you win, lose, or don't wrestle, but if you step on the mat accept the result and move along.

Might not be going for first. Abut Everyone in the coach’s polls counted Saige Walls out. After a loss in opening round battles back majors everyone. And brings home 3rd after beating kid that put him in constellations. This bracket was the toughest in the tournament. And to battle back major the kids that was ranked above him all year. Should speak to this kids talent. 2 more years of this young man.

He’s ranked #1. How much more credit can he get?

Not one person gives Hurst a chance even though he’s ranked #1.

You mean not one of the few people who posted on this thread that likely have their own teams guy picked to win? Come on. He’s ranked 1 for a reason.
