I WOULD SUGGEST CALLING ALL NUMBERS ON A ROTATION DAILY UNTIL SOMEBODY ANSWERS.
All rosters must be entered online. I will send you an email with a link to the registration website,
username, password, and instructions after I receive conformation of your schools plan to attend the
tournament. This is the only way that rosters will be accepted. You must have your rosters and records
submitted by 10:00 AM on Sunday, January 22nd. Please submit conformation of attendance via fax or
email to:
rstclair304@gmail.com by December 15, 2022 and include your e-mail address so that I may respond.
No phone in rosters will be accepted. Entry Fee is due at the seeding meeting.
Entry Fee: High School - $350.00 first team (10 wrestlers or more)
Second Team $ 250.00 or $35.00 per individual

Entries: Unlimited entries per weight as long as we do not go over 64 wrestlers in a weight class. Coaches will
need to verify their roster upon arrival at the tournament. The seeds and entry lists will be posted to
www.wvmat.com. Seeds will be posted after the seeding meeting and entry lists will be posted on Wednesday.
Weigh-in: All divisions will get one additional pound plus the 2 pounds growth allowance. The weigh classes
will be base plus 3 on Friday and an additional pound on Saturday. Remember if this is the first time the
wrestler is in a weight class, your wrestler must make base weight the 1st day weigh-in only. We will follow
federation rules for weigh-in procedure. All teams must be in the weigh in area at 11:00 am.
Weight Classes:
High School – 106, 113, 120, 126, 132, 138, 144, 150, 157, 165, 175, 190, 215, 285
Tournament Format: We will run the following format: The 64 man losers are out of the tournament, double
elimination for all wrestles who make it into the 32 man bracket.
Awards: Team trophies will be given to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place team for AAA teams, AA teams and A teams.
Individual awards will be for the top eight in all weight classes.
Spectator Admission – Friday $9.00 – Adult / $7.00 – Student/ under 6 free
Saturday AM $9.00 – Adult / $7.00 – Student/ under 6 free
Saturday Evening (Finals) $9.00 – Adult / $7.00 – Student/ under 6 free
All Session Pass $27.00 Adults and $21.00 Students

High School Weigh in will follow federation procedures, all teams must be in the weigh in area at 11:00 until
all teams are weighed in.
Additional Information:
- Teams are permitted to bring food and coolers in the back door of the arena. No food or drinks can
be taken into the main arena. There will be tables in the back where teams enter the arena, You can
eat and keep your coolers in this area only.
