i understand there is alotta wrestling left and you are a south fan but if you have Joey Miller ranked anything but number 1 at 113 you missed something buddy. Miller just tec-d the defending AAA champion and Smith is a darn good wrestler. Miller has jumped to my top 5lb for lb rankings after a performance like that. As far as south breaking the all time scoring record,?? I don't know but it could be close.

I have not seen Musselman's Miller on the mat yet. However, on paper, he appears to be the baddest of the bad. Until he is beaten in WV at 113, he is the man.

Martin is at 126. Miller is at 113. They won't be wrestling each other this season.

For what it is worth, my very good friend and wrestling colleague "TrueSouthFanInInwood" told be that Miller at 113 is the real deal.

Joey Miller Tech fall George Smith? I think Smith teched Stoud earlier so that paints an interesting picture. I've caught wind Jordan Wood is dropping to 113. He has taken a beating at 120 so far this year so 113 might be a smart move. He is a giant and if he can make weight he will be too big for most in 113. I see Wood dominating 113 if he makes the cut.

Joey Miller is very talented and an even bigger monster on the mat than on paper. I have seen him. One has to wonder a few things however;

1. When will we actually see this young man wrestle? The teams around here cannot field a full lineup and when you have such few kids on your team it would not be wise to waste one of them against Miller.

2. Can Miller handle the pressure Irazarry will put on him when it really matters? Never underestimate what South may have up their sleeve!!!!!

Where did I get tech fall from? My apologies, I don't wish to be misleading.

Normally, I just troll and enjoy the banter on here :) .
However, as a completely biased father, I just wanted to put some food for thought out there concerning the 152 pound class...
Garcia lost to Hinzman, 3-1 the only match they had(last season)
Hinzman has at some point wrestled everyone on the list that's been repeated on here at some point(with the exception of Adkins, I think) and suffered no losses
However, these guys are very good wrestlers and I'm anxious to see these matchups!
Good luck to all!

Hello my good friend. I knew you would eventually join WVMAT. I have had a few people question that I know many wrestling fans all over the east coast that use the moniker of "TrueSouthFanIn___________".

I am leaning toward taking in day 1 of the Wheeling Park Duals. Once I buy my ticket, I am looking for Musselman.

If Jordan Wood from JM does drop to 113, that would be an interesting 1st round matchup.

Wood was 4th in the AAA state tournament at 106 last season. Smith was of course the champion at 106. Miller defeated Smith via tech fall this season.

Of the three wrestlers mentioned, I have only seen Smith wrestle this season.

Typical south answer. LMBO!!!! Miller is another kid that Irazarry CAN NOT handle.

Only 7 out of 29 AAA teams have a wrestler in every weight class.

Bearhugger, if you would re-read mattmans post above you would see that he said miller tech falled the defending 113 champ (that was luke martin) i and everybody else on here knows luke is 126 and miller is 113. we all know they haven't and won't wrestle. but again MATTMAN SAID MILLER TECH FALLED THE DEFENDING 113 CHAMP ! he obviously ment miller tech falled the 106 defending champ (smith). I for one have not seen those results on here between musselman and point pleasant, One would think Musselman coaches would be proud uf that match and miller and give him some credit and put the results on here. Miller definitely deserves the credit.

Sadly, the animal will not be participating at WSAZ this year. Schools in Berkely are not allowed to travel unless it is at least 52 degrees outside and sunny. Slim odds.

This is a great thing to be teaching kids as they grow up. Some will think they do not have to go to work unless it is at least 52 degrees outside and sunny.
