I have a few picked but I'd like to see who some of you have picked to be in the finals. And let's be reasonable and not put every Parkersburg South wrestler in the finals.

Now this is not based off of seeds because I do not have knowledge of seeds nor brackets this is solely off of personal opinion. With no knowledge of the out of state teams competing. Good luck to all wrestler this weekend. A lot of great match up and a close team race between defending Winner Choice Champions East Fairmont and the always tough Parkersburg South. With that said here's my finals predictions.

106: Barber Oak Hill vs Winland South-Winland South
113: Ackerman Prkburg vs Spaulding Ritchie-Spaulding Richie
120: Laya East Fairmont vs Best Prkburg-Laya East
126: Whorton East Fairmont vs Martin South-Martin South
132: Matheny Calhoun vs Secrist Petersburg-Secrist Petersburg
138: Donahue Prkburg vs Whiting Roane-Donahue Prkburg
145: Zeilders University vs Reichard Roane-Reichard Roane
152: Garcia BU vs Hamlin University-Garcia BU
160: Booth North Marion vs Dunbar South-Booth North
170: Lamboitte South vs Kincell East Fairmont-Lamboitte South
182: Delong South vs Masters Fairmont Senior Delong South
195: Allman South vs Abbott Fairmont Senior Allman South
220: Pomeroy Riverside vs Hartman Petersburg- Pomeroy Riverside
285: Haga South vs Holley Cabell Midland-Haga South

The 160 bracket is lopsided. Pine got 1 seed Booth got 2 seed. Dunbar, Frisco, Daughtery, Booth all in the bottom bracket. Should make for great semi final though.

I wouldn't count out the Nitro boy at 170. He place 4th at the states last year AAA. He's looks pretty good this year! I know he isn't from south but he may make the finials.

By that are you meaning Mr.Holley of Cabell Midland? If so are they on the same side of the bracket this year? Holley is a fine young man and a very good wrestler indeed but one thing I've learned is that you can't go off things that happen in previous years. Things change, anyone can be beaten as Holley did prove at last years winners choice. Could he very well do it again, possible so. But for now I still have to personally stick with Kuhn.

I don't mind getting proven wrong, i just enjoy the sport.

They are not on the same side of the bracket. We will find out because Holley has Hamlin next match. I think Holley will go all the way and have his hand raised in the finals match. But we will have to wait and see.

Best of luck to Mr.Holley. Wish I could be there but sadly someof us don't have a regular 9-5 job. Hopefully I can watch him in the finals tomorrow evening.
