I am a little confused. At the bottom of your rankings you say the rankings are based on "head-to-head competition, results against common opponents, quality of overall competition, previous year's performance, and personal observation." then you have nearly the entire Indy team in weight classes that they have not competed in this year.

Also, using your criteria, 170 is off. Jarvis and Moomau are both in AA/A, yet they have not faced each other, if they have any common opponents Jarvis is undefeated, and Jarvis placed 2nd at 170 last year while Moomau has not placed in any weight class. I can hardly even find results for Petersburg, so I assume it isn't based on quality of competition either.

Otherwise, a pretty solid list as usual.

Coach, I watched Jackson Moomau wrestle last weekend at Winner's Choice and he looked pretty good. He finished 2nd behind South's TJ Lambiotte and was holding his own before being stuck in a spladle. He's ranked 6th at the Z's, so I don't think that is too high. He may surprise some. Levi is ranked ahead of him in the coaches poll. It will all work out.

I do not know about all the ones you speak of...but I did see a recent posted result that had Hart listed as wrestling at 182.

Yeah I am not saying Moomau is not good or anything, just commenting that if the stated criteria is precisely applied then the ranking should be a tad bit different. I guess it will all come out at states :D

Indy doesn't have a lot of scores posted, but from what I have seen Lusher has been wrestling at 120 (ranked at 113), Adam Daniels has been wrestling at 182 (ranked at 170). Jacob Hart started the season at 195, but dropped to 182 soon after and I overlooked that. I was incorrect at saying "nearly the entire team"...so many freakin Hart's on their roster I get them confused :)

I don't believe that some of these weight classes are fully correct. For starters if we are looking at head to head match ups, at 120 Dylan Dennison beat Chase Stover this year 5-1. I am wondering why Ethan Swick was put in at #9 and Gage Vincent of Braxton isn't even in the picture. At an open tournament this year Gavin Triplett pinned Bo Moler and now they are both at 132 but Bo is #9 and Gavin is where? Also at 170 there is no argument to put Jackson Moomau over Jarvis. Period.

Eian Harper pinned Conner Spaulding, at Winners Choice, and was ahead on points when it happened. Spaulding is 9th and Harper is no where to be found.

At 132, Alec Cook is a 10th grader . Beat Shamblin at OVAC yesterday 5-1

We didn't go to Zs, we went to Mountaineer Matchup in Clarksburg. That is why all of our guys are missing. I am sure that if we had gone we would have had 5-7 wrestlers seeded.

Let's go ahead and fix 113. A new animal has moved in the 113 Den and he goes by the name of Liam Lusher!

I saw a good spladle come out of no where at the WSAZ.

It would be interesting to see Laya drop to 113 and Whorton drop to 120. Teamwise it wouldn't make sense but individually i'd like to see it.

I would like to see them move UP. Open a slot for Cassucio and expand Murderer's Row to 5, instead of 4. This could hurt individual title chances, but all 5 would hit the podium and help the team.

That would be even more interesting and a great sentiment to their stud jv 106 but too risky for the 4 bumping up. Still...I'd love to see it but I doubt they'd take that chance and wisely so.
