Good things are happening at Glenville State and West Liberty University. Yesterday was the Super Region 3 tournament with West Liberty finishing in second place with 125 points and Glenville State finished in third place with 122.5 points. The first-place team was Ashland University with 128.5 points. West Liberty had two champions and qualified a total of 6 six wrestlers for the national tournament in two weeks, while Glenville State also had two champions and qualified a total of 5 for the national tournament. Most notably the two champions for Glenville State are former WV high school wrestlers; Gavin Quiocho from Parkersburg South and Nick Johnson from Parkersburg High.

Also of note: former WVU wrestler Scott Joll was the 174 pound champion in Region 2 for UNC-Pembroke.

The Division 2 national championships are in Park City, KS, March 15-16th. Good luck to all.
