Comments: The Roane County 4-H organization would like to thank the volunteers who helped run our tournament for a good cause. Proceeds from this tournament will benefit the Roane County 4-H Program. We will have this event on an earlier, more attractive date next year, although it did seem fitting that we had a green and white 4-H tournament on St. Patrick's Day. We did have to combine a number of weight classes. This was done in the most reasonable and fair way that we could and all the children did get a minimum of two matches. We hope that people were pleased with the way we moved the tournament along and that we were out early. We thank those that attended and welcome you back next year for what we are sure will be a bigger and better event.
There were some placewinners that did not pick up their trophy. The folowing awards were not claimed: 7-8 65 (4th), 7-8 75 (4th), 7-8 85 (1st, 2nd, & 3rd), 9-10 65 (2nd), 13-15 95 (1st), 13-15 110 (4th).
