PARKERSBURG SOUTH AT RENO TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS

Robby Shank (112) and Mike Sharpe (215) gained All-American status as a result of their placement at the Reno Tournament of Champions in Reno, Nevada, January 4-5, 1997. Shank placed third and Sharpe placed second, losing to Viktor Sveda of Walsh Jesuit for the second time this year. Sveda is the only 215-pounder to have beaten Sharpe so far this year. Zach Hasse (125) and Chad Walters (145) each placed sixth.
