WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. No. 19-ranked Findlay came from behind in the final few matches Friday night to edge No. 14 West Liberty, 18-16, as the Hilltopper wrestling program's Alumni Weekend kicked off with a dual meet between nationally-ranked squads at the ASRC.

Coach Brian Davis's Hilltoppers (10-4) grabbed a 13-9 lead with just four matches to go when Jordon Nolan scored a 12-1 major decision against Mason True but the Oilers (6-5) responded with three straight wins to take control of the match.

JD Ramsey, West Liberty's nationally-ranked 285-pounder, pitched a 2-0 shutout in the final match of the evening but it wasn't enough to pull out the win.

Dillon Nolte (133), Nick Wykoff (141) and Jarrod Shaw (157) were the Hilltoppers' other winners on the evening.

Alumni Weekend continues at the ASRC on Saturday when West Liberty hosts a triangular with Tiffin University and No. 10-ranked Mercyhurst University.

Tiffin and Mercyhurst get things rolling at 1 p.m. with the Hilltoppers hitting the mats at 2:30 against Tiffin. The showdown between No. 10 Mercyhurst and No. 14 West Liberty is set for a 4 p.m. start.

Hilltopper wrestling alumni are asked to assemble in the lobby of Blatnik Hall at 2 p.m. The West Liberty wrestling alumni in attendance will be recognized prior to the Mercyhurst match.
