West Virginia did win five matches on the day, highlighted by No. 15 Joe Carr's 22-7 technical fall over Jason Effner at 157 pounds and No. 7 Ryan Kehler's win by forfeit at heavyweight. He also leads the Mountaineers with a 12-1 dual meet record and 45 overall dual meet points. Kehler is now tied for second WVU's all-time heavyweight seasonal wins list with a 26-5 record.
