GRANTHAM, Pennsylvania -- WVU Tech wrestling competed at the two-day Messiah Petrofes Invitational in Grantham Friday and Saturday.
The Golden Bears were led by junior Logan Robertson who picked up 9.5 team points and a seventh place showing at 133 lbs. Robertson finished 4-2 over the two days including a major decision, 11-2, over Southern Virginia's Jacques St. John.
Sophomore Leslie Campbell also earned team points (3.5) for the Gold and Blue, finishing 3-2 at 174 lbs. He earned a fall (6:26) over Josh Dailey of NCAA DII Alderson Broaddus University.
Freshman Jacob Thomas added 1.0 team points with an 11-6 decision over William Grace of King's College at 184 lbs.
Tech opens up its home schedule with a dual against the Battlers of Alderson Broaddus Friday, December 13 in Van Meter Gym. Action is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
